I think I have this theory: Don't update/modify/change it, redesign it! So, I did. When it comes to this site, I seem to have this perfection disorder, where I get a design up that I actually like, and then I blow it all apart a few months/years later. Yup, did it again! So, I decided to totally update this site and see what everyone thinks. I changed the layout a wee bit, relied on less images (this page only uses about 3 right now), and added a diary thing. We'll see how often I *actually* keep this up to date, but I have this feeling its something I may use quite often. Also, finally linked to the gallery. So, enjoy that I hope. Let me know what you think of the new schtuff.

     Fun survey thing
Mood: tired, exhausted, stressed, headache, etc

I got this from Meesh, Alijia & Chris. Decided to fill it out. It's long but somewhat entertaining. Except, whoever wrote this can't count... I commented on that. Here be it:

    1. First grade teacher's name: Mrs. Jan Smith I think... I can't remember for sure
    2. Last person you kissed: Hmmmmmmmm...
    3. Last word you said: "Girl"
    4. Last song you sang: I sing in my truck when I'm by myself. Its like that dude in Office Space ('cept I don't sing rap, I'm a mean ... [More]

So, think Global Warming doesn’t exist?
    Mood: Stressed

So... if you listen to some of the people in power in this country (not naming names), they insist that this whole "global warming" thing is a farse. I just recently wrote a paper in Environmental Biology about my favorite little critters, the Pika. If you don’t know what a pika is and you know me well, something is very wrong. (In case you don’t know what a pika is, I talk about them in the paper.)

The assignment in the class was to write a scientific review paper which was peer-reviewed b... [More]

     BeezerUpdate: Summer 2005
Mood: Sad -- have to leave soon!

    Hello everyone!

I am currently writing this from 38,000 feet aboard a United Airlines 777-200 enroute from Chicago, IL to Seattle, WA. One of my friends got married and I was in the wedding, so I left my "home" at Mt. Rainier National Park and headed back into the real world for a while. On the flight from Seattle to Chicago, we took off and I was greeted with a spectacular vi... [More]

     Happy Birthday to Me
    Mood: Whee! I'm old!

Hello. I'm now officially 1 year short of being a quarter of a century old. My plan for this celebration of my 8760th day on the earth is to go to the Gorge Amphitheatre and watch Dave Matthews Band rock my world. It'll look like this:

I cannot wait! Take care everyone!... [More]
