This trip was incredible and I cannot begin to thank everyone for their support and backing me when I decided to do this so long ago. Anyone who knows me knows that Rainier has been one of those "must do" things for me in the past few years. I really really really wanted this mountain, and I got it with hard work, determination, and most of all, support of others. However, there are a few groups I need to single out for special thanks:
- First and foremost, I'd like to thank my parents, my brother & his girlfriend, their kitties, and my dog, Cocoa. My friends put up with me as I kept telling them about this trip, and I want to thank them
- Saeed Toossi - You are an Incredible Guy... I really enjoyed climbing with you and I sincerely hope we get to climb lots of big mountains! Good luck on all your future climbs!
- Stephan van Baars - When you climb, you put your trust in, sometimes, complete strangers. Man, I really enjoyed climbing with you! I hope we can do it again someday soon!
- I'd like to thank everyone at Camp Muir, the climbing rangers and everyone associated with Mt. Rainier. There is so much that goes on that you never see and its hard to not mention these people. The Rangers at Mt. Rainier are incredible people and deserve much recognition.
- As for my gear, I'd wish to thank Columbia, The North Face, REI, CampMor, Starved Rock Outfitters, Outdoor Research, Black Diamond, Koflach, Grivel (the Anti-balling plates are freaking incredible, I *HIGHLY* recommend them), Camp Mountaineering, Petzl, and Mountain Hardware.
- And most importantly, I want to thank God for yet another amazing summit moment. The things he created and allows us to do are incredible and its awesome to be part of it.
