Pickering 1940s Case Study | Beezer

Every year Pickering hosts a 40s style festival that takes over the entire town. With thousands of guests attending, and many new to the area, Pickering 1940s is a mobile event app we created to help guests get all the information needed at a moment’s notice.

The mobile app contains all the details for the festival, enabling attendees to see everything they need to know in one place. The core goal of the app was to help people know precisely where events took place throughout the day.

The app allowed for the creation of location details with pin-point map imagery to guide visitors and integrated all Social Media feeds into one easy to find page.

We also helped make sure the app was reactionary with the option to use a push notifications feature. This allowed organisers to keep everyone up to speed with new additions for the day sent straight to visitor’s phones.
